In creating a category icon, it shows that you then touch the "plus sign" at the bottom if the browser- this must be an old iOS as it doesnt exist anymore and there is no work-around.

Of course the first time I didnt read the reviews first, I download a nonfunctional app. Lesson learned.
WASTE OF MONEY COME ON APPLE DUMP THIS CRAP
Doesnt create icons on my iPad. The plus never comes up.
I am tired of Apps everywhere! AppButler did just what I needed! Provided a way to organize all my Apps! Wonderful! Many of the reviewers below didnt understand how to use it. Too bad they gave it 1-star when its their own "operator error." My layout "formula" for four Apps per Row: AppButler Label on LEFT side + my 2 most used apps + Folder with extra apps. Example: (BOOKS) + iBooks App + Kindle App + Folder with extra Apps about books. For the places I dont have extra Apps in a folder I simply made a placeholder. *NOTE: AppButlers placeholders are black, which looked ugly against my Wallpaper. So I created a pretty placeholder (pix of flower) from a picture in my Photos -- which is much nicer over my Wallpaper. I also needed a Label for "Church" which AppButler didnt have. I simply created the label with a picture I wanted to use in PowerPoint, saved it as a jpg, imported it to iPhoto, then synced to iPhone. Voila! Now I have a label "Church"! Yes, when you Create the icon it takes you to a website. You quickly hit 2 buttons (the button the arrow points to on the iPhone menu that looks like a box with forward arrow or on the ipad ABOVE where the arrow points that looks like a box with an arrow, then "Add to Home Screen"). It takes 2 seconds and youve created an app icon that immediately downloads to your iPhone or iPad. So simple and easy to use--on both devices!!
Do not download! Not user friendly at all!
Seriously.... Its a great app!
3-Stars for trying. Oh God not another step...Anyone know of a AUTO APP ORGANIZER? It shouldnt be that difficult to auto organize apps by their "Category" names as listed in iTunes. And then when you download another app it would automatically put it In its category name/order on your iPhone/iPad.
Not a bad app but just takes time to organize it. Wish instead of numerical....have an alphabetical option instead.
I just purchased this app and it does not work with IPad! When you create the category, it takes you to a page for the icon. Next it says to press the "+" to add it to your home page. Needless to say, there is no "+". Asked for a refund less than 5 minutes after purchase!
First, I would like to say that this app works, is useful, and my phone looks great!! With that being said, I had to enter in a category name before it would let me "create" the app on my homescreen. The troubleshooting says this is due to a slow connection, but I disagree. I had all bars of cellular data AND full Wi-Fi connectivity and was unable to get past this step. My work-around was to create a black background with stars so I could place a period dot which blended with the background instead of putting in a full category name. Kind of defeated the purpose of the app, but it will do for now. Please fix with next update!
This app is a scam!! Kinda mad i just wasted 99ct.
Not very intuitive, and really not helpful.
Heres how to use AppButler on an iPad. 1.) Select an icon and color in AppButler. 2.) Tap on "Create" button in AppButler. 3.) Tap the box with the arrow icon, and select "Add to Home Screen" 4.) Add a name for the icon, so the "Add" button becomes available - then tap "Add". Now the icon is available for placement on the iPad. NOTE: AppButler doesnt do any automatic App rearranging for you. It just allows you to create icons for visual cues for your Apps. So, you can group all your games on a page and make a Games icon as a marker for the beginning of that section. Do the same with Financial apps and Shopping apps. . . I hope this is helpful for those who struggled with AppButler on the iPad, as I have.
It used to be great for keeping apps neat and tidy, but the developer has ignored it for so long that it wont work any more. During the process of creating an icon I was sent to their site, where instead of finishing the icon I was just given a sales pitch for the app itself, which of coarse I already have, and a link to the app store to buy it.
Does not work on Iphone 5. Cant get support or my money back,
Used to be ok. Now doesnt work. At all.
It simply doesnt work. I want a refund. Im surprised apple allows people to get robbed from their EXCLUSIVE app store. I want refund
Actually the app does work very well just like it should. I have iPhone 5 and when I contacted support via the email address they immediately responded to me.
Ive had this app for a long time and love it. All of a sudden- now when I open the app, it goes to the site where you can now buy app for 99cents. But it wont allow me to make a new icon. I have the app for my ipad and iphone and I cant use either. I have deleted the app and gone back to the App Store and re-downloaded it but get same reaction. Please help. Thanks!! Support wont work on bottom of app.
